Description

Biography of Col. Werner Molders who was a German Ace and the first flyer of any nation with 100 confirmed aerial kills. He was awarded the Knights Cross' Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords, and Diamonds. He was one of the first two men awarded this level of the Iron Cross. He fought in the Spanish Civil War, the "Phony War," the Battles of France and Britain, and Operation Barbarossa. He died as a passenger in a plane crash in 1941 on his way to a state funeral for a German WWI Ace.
