Coverage
Other items in the collection related to WWII have been donated or removed from the circulating collection and cover all aspects of the war, though primarily about the European or Pacific Theatres.
Although the bulk of the books on this subject are in English, not all books were written from the U.S or British perspective; a goodly number of books have been translated from their original langagues. All non-book items are U.S.-centric.
Primary sources originate from the following countries (in no particular order): United States, Great Britain, France, Germany, Russia, Switzerland, Yugoslavia, Japan, Sweden, Hungary, and Poland.
Access Rights
The Proctor Library is not open or accessible to the public and permission to come in and use our resources must be acquired from the Director of Library Services. All guest access is determined on a case-by-case basis after submittal of a research request and explanation of the need and purpose.
